Our speaker will be Jim Spiden, of the Transportation Security Administration and Director for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Spiden will address security, screening, and "strange but true" stories from behind the scenes at Sea-Tac airport.

Tacoma Twlight Criterium
A bike race in downtown Tacoma!
Tim Waer from the Tacoma Pierce County Sports Commission came before the Downtown Merchant Group this morning to give them a heads up on a new event coming to Tacoma. The Tacoma Twilight Criterium will be held on June 12th, 2010. It is a high energy multi-lap short course cycling event that will circle Pacific and A Streets between 8th and 11th.
